Supplements
Our office offers 3 main categories of nutritional supplements and vitamins. The first category aids your body in healing from injuries, such as those sustained during sports or auto accidents. The second category helps with the management of specific conditions such as osteoporosis, joint pain, sleep disorders, and decreased energy. The third category of supplements help you make sure that you get the nutrients that you may not have gotten through your daily diet.
We proudly offer supplements specially-formulated by Doctor's Pride and Anabolic Laboratories. Some of the popular offerings include inflame-ease (our most popular), neuro-ease, super snooze, ener-g vites, glucosamine chondroitin sulfate with MSM, and coral calcium. Some of our vitamins are available in chewable or liquid form.
We are happy to special order anything that you need and will gladly give recommendations for supplements specific to your health needs.
Topical Gels
Biofreeze is a topical gel that offers cold therapy pain relief. It is available in roll-on, spray, and gel forms. We recommend its use for muscle and joint pains and decreasing pain and inflammation in damaged tissue.
Supports
If a need arises for orthotics, heel lifts, braces, or other supports during your visit, we have you covered!
We maintain a large supply of back braces (lumbar support belts), tennis elbow braces, knee braces, and more.
We also offer Spine Align orthotics and Back Huggar lumbar support cushions.
Pillows
You spend up to 1/3 of your day resting on your pillow.
A good pillow can do a lot to support proper neck alignment. Unfortunately, a bad pillow can cause you to wake up feeling stiff, inflexible or even in pain. Feel free to discuss your needs with Dr. Petersen and we can help you find a great pillow and a great night’s sleep. We currently offer D-Core and Tempur-pedic brand pillows and are happy to special order other pillows that will fit your needs.
Ice/Heat Packs
The use of ice and/or heat packs is a key treatment in the healing process of damaged tissues. Ice helps decrease inflammation and decrease pain. Heat helps decrease muscle spasms and increase mobility. We offer ice/ heat packs
in a large variety of sizes. We recommend that all of our patients keep a few packs at home for when the need arises.
